We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves various physical tasks associated with construction projects, ensuring that work sites are safe, clean, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up equipment.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople.
Help erect scaffolding, structures, and forms.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Assist with site measurements and layout as needed.
Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus.
Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
Familiarity with safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform strenuous tasks.
Ability to work at heights.
