We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. In this role, you will support project management and field operations, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and experience in the construction industry.
Duties:
Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects
Coordinate between SRS personnel and suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that the field personnel have the labor, materials, and equipment they need to perform the work safely and efficiently
Assist the Project Manager in looking ahead and identifying needs to keep the project moving ahead safely and efficiently
Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that arise
Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations as needed
Schedules transport and /or transports materials and equipment required for company projects to and from the project sites and the warehouses, if needed
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, materials and project management principles and practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Experience with computers, Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), and construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
